Bespoke Framing Services
Made by us, specifically for your artwork.
From a single photograph to a large piece of artwork, every frame is made in our North Norfolk studio to your exact requirements.
We combine quality wooden mouldings, conservation mounting, professional glazing and careful craftsmanship to create a finished piece that's designed to look beautiful and protect your artwork for years to come.
How we make your frame
01 — Precision cutting
Morso F mitre guillotine
Our frame mouldings are accurately cut and mitred in our workshop, giving us precise corners and control over the finished frame.
02 — Joining the frame
Alfamacchine U200 underpinner
The four moulding sections are joined using our Alfamacchine U200 underpinner to create a strong, accurate frame.
03 — Cutting the mount
Keencut Ultimat Future
Where a mount is required, we use our Keencut Ultimat Future to cut a precise aperture in conservation mountboard.
04 — Cutting glass & board
Keencut Excalibur 6000
Our Keencut 6000 allows us to accurately cut both the mount board and glass to the required dimensions.
05 — The finished piece
The print, mount, glazing and frame are carefully assembled and finished ready for hanging.
Costs of your bespoke frame, sizes and materials
There are so many variables to framing an image, it really is personal choice
As we make everything ourselves, in our studio we really can keep the costs down, we can source the mouldings (lengths of timber to make the frames) from a few pounds a meter to tens of pounds a meter. It’s much easier if you contact us with your requirements and we can work with you and give you some guidance, talk through your requirements in detail and give you a written quote.
“We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to framing.
The right frame should complement the artwork rather than compete with it.
We'll help you choose the moulding, mount and glazing that work best for your image, your space and your budget.”
Frame Options
Materials:
The mouldings to make the frame
All of our frames are made using high-quality wood mouldings as standard.
We do stock a limited amount of Polcore (a mix of recycled and virgin polystyrene) but can accommodate requests if required.
Glass Options
Float Glass, as standard all the frames come with 2mm or 3mm flat gless, this is the glass you see every day in windows etc
The Glass can easily be upgraded to Art Glass, although this is quite expensive it really can make a difference to your wall art, it’s virtually invisible and therefore not distracting from. the image. Again this comes in 2mm or 3mm versions.
For safety or in commercial areas, we can use high-quality acrylic.
Sourcing the perfect frame
We work with a range of both local and national suppliers, giving us access to thousands of products to meet your framing needs. We will work with you to explore the mouldings that suit your project. If you have any specific requirements or questions, feel free to reach out to us.
We're here to help make the framing process as simple as possible.

Protecting your artwork for the future
Some artwork deserves more than standard framing.
For valuable, collectible or historically important prints, posters and photographs, we offer museum and conservation-style framing, using carefully selected archival materials and reversible mounting techniques.
Our approach is designed to protect the artwork while ensuring that it can be safely removed from the frame in the future, without having been permanently altered.
Completely reversible mounting
Where appropriate, we use archival mounting methods that do not require adhesive to be applied directly to the artwork.
This means:
No permanent glue or adhesive applied to the artwork
No dry mounting
No spray adhesive
No pressure-sensitive tapes
Conservation-quality, archival mounting materials, selected according to the artwork, with reversible mounting methods and no permanent adhesive applied directly to the artwork
Reversible mounting, allowing the artwork to be removed safely in the future
The artwork is supported without unnecessarily restricting the natural movement of the paper
For particularly valuable or delicate pieces, we can use archival photo corners or other specialist conservation mounting techniques, selected according to the artwork and its condition.
